Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Gramothan Bal Mahila Kalyan Sansthan (GBMKS), we strive to provide transparent and fair policies for cancellations and refunds. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which donations may be cancelled or refunded.

General Policy

All donations made to GBMKS are generally considered final and non-refundable, as they directly support our charitable activities and community development programs. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Important Notice

Donations to charitable organizations are typically tax-deductible and non-refundable. GBMKS reserves the right to determine eligibility for refunds based on specific circumstances and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Cancellation Timeline

Cancellation requests must be submitted within:

  • 7 days for online donations
  • 30 days for offline/check donations
  • Immediate for duplicate or erroneous transactions

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed charitable activities or programs
  • Tax certificates already issued
  • Administrative fees (if applicable)
  • Donations made more than 30 days ago
  • Donations made through third-party platforms

Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • UPI/Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • Cheques: 14-21 business days

Tax Implications

If a refund is processed:

  • Any tax benefits claimed will need to be reversed
  • 80G certificates will be cancelled if issued
  • Tax authorities will be notified as required
  • Donors may need to update their tax returns
